I never saw myself as an artist. Why would I? I’ve never been praised for my art, instead I was praised for sports and school. Brain and body. Where is the divine expression in that? Well, it’s in its creativity.

The unique expression within anything requires creativity and is in one sense divine. It’s an emergent expression of who you are. It is in all things you do. Reading, learning, moving, playing, writing, talking, painting, webdesign, coding.

As long as you are generating ideas in a novel way it is creative by definition. We are all creative but not everyone creates. Passive → Active. Be an artist in everything you do.

Creativity is what seperates us from the everythingness. It is what allows us to be us.

I was never praised for my art. 

Now am become art, creator of worlds.

WHAT IS ART?

Art is an individual's personal creative understanding and expression of the world around him.

The artist yearns to fully comprehend his worldly existence but since the true nature of reality is unfathomable, it can only be expressed through art and creativity.

This is why they say that the poets are the closest to God. To be a true poet is to become God.

Art is beautiful. If it is not beautiful then it is not art.

Anything can be made into an art form if the one doing the thing is passionate about it.

The best art is when technical skill meets creative power in perfect harmony. Good art needs to balance out these two ends of the spectrum.

Too much technical skill without imagination will lead to paintings that look realistic but lack soul. Too much imagination with no skill and you're left with an eyesore.

When a musician is playing, if he has soul and passion the crowd will not even notice if he makes a mistake and plays a note or chord wrong.

Imagination and creativity are necessary, but, on the other hand, if you lack the skill to match it, you end up with this bullshit that people call “modern art” which lacks any sense of mastery of technical skill.

These people have tons of imagination but absolutely no skill when it comes to making artwork, so they decide to throw a can of paint on a canvas and call it “art” which we all know it is not.

True art is when passion meets creativity.

It can apply to any realm of life. In order to see the quality of something, you must look at it as an art form.

Aestheticism can appear everywhere and it should.

It should be in the clothes we wear, the cars we drive, the buildings we live and work in, the tools we use, the cities we live in, and everything else too.

Cultivate a sense of beauty in all that you do.
